Clear Stamp Storage

I have been buying clear stamps ever since I developed an addiction to scrapbooking. What started out as a hobby in 2008 grew into a collection of its own. I used to store my clear stamps in a tin lunch box until it could no longer accommodate.

Most of my clear stamps are the Studio G mini clear stamps and I now store them in a four-ring binder with page sleeves to hold the stamps. I lifted the idea from Jennifer McGuire's video. This system works well as it keeps the stamp sets organized and takes up less space.

My larger sized stamp sets are stored in baskets that I got from Parkson. At RM4.90 a basket, they're pretty inexpensive. This system works for now.

My wood-mounted rubber stamps occupy only one drawer of my IKEA Fira mini chest as I have very few of them.

What's your ultimate stamp storage solution?

Snail Mail

Snail Mail

Just a little haul that came in the mail yesterday. I bought these between January and February with my online earnings. Kuching customs cleared it on February 5th, but I don't understand why it took forever to reach my doorstep.

Charms & Stampings
Tons of wedding, baby and sewing charms and stampings - enough to get me going for a few projects. Bought these for a steal on Etsy from Sundance Supplies.

Basic Grey Delta Series Clear Stamps
Basic Grey's Delta Series clear stamps. I got these from eBay seller angbankosh.

I'm trying to save and earn more PayPal money so I could get more clear stamps, especially the new Studio G ones. I have had my eye on:
Basic Grey Alpha Series
Inkadinkado Mini Clear Stamps - Birthday Words, Congrats Words, Thanks Words
Studio G Series 46 - Believe, Wish, Precious, Family, Today, Life
Studio G Series 39 - Jumbo Flower, Four Flowers, Lovely
Studio G Series 34 - Wicked Witch

New Look

In anticipation of the new year, I have a new look to the blog. Well, sort of because nothing much has changed. The template is the same, the header is somewhat old and new, and I cleaned up the sidebar just a tad - adding and removing whatnots. It still needs some tweaking but I'll get to it later.

Hopefully this change shapes a new direction to my (non-existent) blogging.

Yukimi's Sushi

Yukimi's Sushi is the latest to explode onto the local Japanese restaurant and food scene. Located at Lee Ling Commercial Centre, Jalan Matang, it is pretty easy to miss the place if you aren't in that area much. Yukimi's Sushi claims to be the first halal Japanese restaurant in Kuching.

They offer some of the favourite sushis at reasonable prices. Some delights to tempt you:

Takoyaki RM3.90

Unagi Temaki RM3.00

Be sure to check out their menu pages for more mouth-watering offerings. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Hellooo.. Remember me? I'm the one you've heard nary a peep from since the ice age. Hmm.. Anyone still reading this decrepit blog?

It has been over 6 dark months since my last post. If you thought that I was off on some sort of vacation, I wasn't and no, I haven't been sitting around eating bonbons either. Alas, there's not much going on here at Sensible Pixie, but I do hope to be back in the blogging saddle soon.

Till then.
