I Won The Lottery, I Mean A Giveaway!
It's here! I won my first bloggy giveaway!

I love the colour combo on this jar. It blends well with the Moroccan theme I'm after for my room.
I had the very good fortune to win this giveaway hosted by Debbie. I’m so happy to have won. I'm very new to crafting and my supplies are limited, so it’s a thrill to have this.

Thank you Debbie! You are so nice and so giving! It's amazing how many things you can get into such a small jar. I am in love with so many of them and I just can’t wait to tackle and use them in projects. What fun!

Back In The Saddle Again
I apologize for being so remiss in my blogging lately. After an insane two-month long tense cramming for finals, I think I am finally easing into a more normal routine. At least for the next four weeks, I can rest, potter around, wander up the street peering into shops, gambol through meadows and skip through fields.
Soon soon I will have some eye candy up in this place.

Crafty Heart Purchases
Hello! I know I said I would go dark for a few months, but I just had to do a quick write-up to show my recent purchases which arrived this morning.

Items I purchased from Crafty Heart - Autumn Leaves Clear Stamp by Rhonna Farrer (Love) and ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink Pad (Rouge)
The store is owned by Debbie, a really lovely helpful lady. And generous too. She was kind enough to throw in a bunch of Daisy D's Fabric Flowers (Maybe Baby) along with my orders.
If you are looking for quality craft items, pop over to Crafty Heart. Available are some of the best craft range at great prices. You can even put in a request if they don't carry what you have in mind. Isn't that great? Hurry now. First ten customers are entitled to a 10% discount off on total purchases.

Hang On, This Too Shall Pass

Oy, nosy parker! Looking for something?
Things are businesswise here at Sensible Pixie, which means exam worries and we know how that makes you feel. I'm taking two months off from blogging, so please forgive me if you have stumbled across this page and wonder where all of the interesting content is.
Normal postings will resume when some semblance of normal returns.

Garden Path
I am absolutely knackered! I've been busy all morning, installing and laying out concrete stepping stones to pave for a small garden path in a corner of my home.

Before - the path was laid out with plaster pillar scraps.
I started by weeding out the grass left in the area. Then the main challenge was to make sure the base is leveled so the stones don't shift too much - I had to rid the ground of humps and dips before I could finally lay out the stones. It rained for a while when I was halfway through, so I was literally playing with muck. I used 24 blocks of 12 × 12 stone squares that fit the path's length just nicely.

After - standard looking stone walkway. There's a thin strip of white pebbles between the stones and cobbles on one side of the path, which served as a border.
Mama took the inaugural walk on it. Some of the stone blocks are still rickety. I'll probably find time to fix it later. My energy has just been sapped and expanded for the day.
